Your Life Is Preaching. What Is It Saying? | Titus 2

May 17, 2026

We spend a lot of time thinking about what we believe. Titus 2 asks a harder question: what is your life actually preaching?

In week two of Built Together, our three-week series through the book of Titus, Pastor Steven Bruce takes us into the heart of what a healthy church looks like from the inside out. After chapter one established that healthy churches need healthy leaders, chapter two turns the lens on the congregation itself. Paul walks Titus through every layer of the community: older men, older women, younger women, younger men, and workers. Each group has a role. Each person has a voice. And the goal for all of them is the same: to make the gospel look beautiful.

This isn't a checklist of things to do to earn God's approval. It's a picture of what it looks like when people who have already been met by grace start living like it. The grace of God is what trains us. The grace of God is what changes us. We don't live differently so that Jesus will love us. We live differently because he already does.
