When Jesus Opens the Door | The Church of Philadelphia | Revelation 3:7–13

Have you ever had a door slammed in your face?
A relationship door…
A job door…
A financial door…
A door of belonging or identity?

The church in Philadelphia knew exactly what that felt like. They lived on a fault line. They were shut out of the synagogue. They felt weak, overlooked, and unimpressive. Yet Jesus spoke one of the most hope-filled messages in Revelation:

“What I open no one can shut… and what I shut no one can open.” (Rev. 3:7)
