When Faith Hits a Dip

September 14, 2025

Children ask about 125 questions a day, but adults average only six. Somewhere along the way we stop asking—and that includes the questions we have for God.
In this second message of our series What To Do With Doubt: Faith in the Midst of Questions, Pastor Steven Bruce walks through the three main ways doubt shows up:

- In our minds – questions we can’t answer.
- In our hearts – pain that’s hard to carry.
- In our wills – sins we don’t want to surrender.

Through the stories of Habakkuk, Job, the disciples, and the rich young ruler, we discover:

- God welcomes honest questions.
- Our feelings don’t tell the whole story.
- Doubt doesn’t have to lead to denial—it can lead to deeper devotion.

Whether you’re facing unanswered questions, heartbreaking pain, or a struggle to obey, this message offers hope and direction. Bring your doubts, your pain, and your questions to Jesus. He is not threatened by your uncertainty—He is the answer your heart is already reaching for.
