Ruth | What Dreams May Come (week 4)
The story of Ruth concludes not with a wedding, but with redemption. In this final message of our Ruth series, we see Boaz step forward—not because he had to, but because he wanted to. He was ready, willing, and able to redeem Ruth and Naomi’s family legacy.
But this is more than just a feel-good ending. It’s a gospel preview. Boaz’s actions point to our ultimate Redeemer—Jesus Christ—who, like Boaz, didn't cause the mess but stepped into it, offering grace, hope, and a future.
In this message, you’ll discover:
👉🏼 Why true love isn’t about emotion—it’s about action
👉🏼What it means to be redeemed and restored by God
👉🏼 How your broken story is never beyond God's reach
👉🏼 The importance of public faith (baptism!) as we live out our redemption
👉🏼 How Jesus fulfills every aspect of the kinsman-redeemer role for you
We see Naomi go from bitter to blessed. Ruth, the outsider, becomes part of the royal lineage of King David—and ultimately, Jesus Himself. What began with death and emptiness ends in new life, worship, and legacy.
📖 Key Texts: Ruth 4, Leviticus 25:25, Deuteronomy 25:5–6, Romans 8:28–29, Matthew 1:1–16, 1 Peter 1:18–19
💬 Reflection: Where have you seen God’s hand at work in your story? Have you laid your life at the feet of the Redeemer?
No matter how your story started, Jesus is the Redeemer who steps in with grace. He sees you. He chooses you. He pays the price for you. And because of Him, your story can end in hope.
